Gun Crisis Philadelphia Update

Philadelphia Police have released surveillance video in hopes of identifying the suspect wanted for a shooting that injured three young men Tuesday night in West Oak Lane.
A gunman fired into a Chinese food store at 6600 North 18th at about 10:30 p.m. A 22-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were each wounded in an arm and a leg, and a 21-year-old was shot in the arm. All three victims were reported in stable condition at Einstein Medical Center.
Police advise that if you see this suspect, you should not approach him but contact 911 immediately. <more info>
At about the same time Tuesday night, a 27-year-old man was shot five times inside a home on the 600 block of North Shedwick Street in the Mantua section of the city. He was reported in stable condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Earlier Tuesday night, a 34-year-old woman discovered that she was wounded in the right check after hearing gunshots while sitting in a car at West Huntingdon and North Stanley Streets in Strawberry Mansion. She was reported in stable condition at temple University Hospital.

A 47-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the head at the intersection of West Butler and 13th Streets at about 12:30 a.m.

Police said that the victim was engaged in a conversation with the gunman before the shooting, according to philly.com.

One shell casing was found at the scene, and appeared to have come from a small caliber handgun.

According to a report from 6ABC, police said the suspect shot a man in the head as he was getting out of a car and then fled the scene.

Retired boxer Tony Martin was shot to death in his home on the same block earlier this month.
