Discussing Philadelphia crime-fighting strategies, at City Hall  and on the radio Posted: 25 Jul 2013 06:40 AM PDT Later this morning at City Hall, Philadelphia Deputy Mayor for Public Safety Everett Gillison will discuss the city’s comprehensive efforts to reduce crime. According to a press release, there will be an “emphasis on reducing violence and deaths among African-American men and boys.” Police recover a gun after at least 29 shots were fired during an incident earlyWednesday morning in the Olney section of Philadelphia.
