Joe Kaczmarek of the Gun Crisis Reporting Project spent a few nights on the streets of Philadelphia recently with a team from the British ITN network.
In this first report, ITN interviewed trauma surgeon William Schwab of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles H. Ramsey, who said: “If more guns made our society safer, then we should be the safest country in the world. Yet we aren’t.”
We will have the second report tomorrow.
