The Philly Artists against Violence urges you to get involved in your neighborhood and community with any reputable organization that stands against Violence.
Just reading the title alone leaves a bad taste in my mouth. We have innocent children dying everyday. Children who will never get the opportunity to graduate from high school, attend their prom, celebrate their 16th birthday, attend college, have a career, get married or start a family.....their life has been stolen away from them due to the senseless acts of others who have no respect for human life. All of us are accountable and responsible to not just speak out but to do whatever is humanly possible to divert and deter those we love and care about and even those we do not yet know from acts of violence that is plaguing our cities, neighborhoods, families and lives.
Please Please research programs and organizations in your communities and donate just 8 hours of your time a month to make a difference. You will be surprise how much change you can bring to someone's life. If we don't try as a whole then we fail as nation.....Philly's Very Own Gossip Girl coming at ya!
